Formed in 1971 in Los Angeles California, The Eagles went on to form their own sound of "West Cost Country Rock Music". Releasing a couple of non commercially successful albums The Eagles 1976 released "Hotel California" - one of the absolute classics of rock albums. The success of Hotel California helped the sales of The Eagles earlier albums that also went on to become commercially successful. With band members struggling with internal disagreements throughout their career The Eagles split up in 1980. They reunited in 1994.
